Massage Therapists & Legislation
One goal that I want to accomplish by the end of 2024 (so January 2025) is to wholly familiarize myself with Texas legislators & legislation. As a queer Black Biracial woman. As a mother. As a SODA, sibling of a deaf adult. As a licensed massage therapist. As a decent human being who recognizes they have more capacity than most.
So I sent an email to 9 Texas Legislators this morning to get started on gathering some clarity on legislation before 2024 casually strolls in. One thing bout me, ima go for the “No’s” Every time.
If you’re interested in following massage therapy legislation (or any interests of your own), I recommend trying sites like LegiScan.
